Nicolas is a happy boy, surrounded by loving parents and good friends. His peaceful life is shaken when he believes his mother is pregnant. Panicking, he imagines the arrival of a little brother who would take all his parents’ attention, leaving him abandoned like Little Tom Thumb.

Nicolas leads a peaceful life. He has loving parents, a great group of friends he has lots of fun with, and he really doesn’t want any of that to change. But one day, Nicolas overhears a conversation between his parents that makes him think his mother is pregnant. He panics and imagines the worst: soon a little brother will arrive, taking up so much space that his parents will no longer pay attention to him, and might even end up abandoning him in the forest like Little Tom Thumb.
