In 1980s Paris, Elisabeth has just been left by her husband and must take care of her two teenagers, Matthias and Judith. She finds a job on a late-night radio show, where she meets Talulah, a drifting young girl whom she takes under her wing. Talulah discovers the warmth of a home and Matthias is faced with the possibility of first love. Meanwhile, Elisabeth forges her own path, perhaps for the first time.
