After the death of his wife, pig farmer Ronald is left to care for both his daughter and the farm. Increasingly strict environmental regulations hang over him like a sword of Damocles. To make matters worse, animal rights activist Erik — unaware of Ronald’s struggles — launches an escalating hate campaign against him. Ronald is pushed to the brink of despair.
