Look of a Killer

Viktor Kärppä is an Ingrian-Finnish returnee and a former soldier of the Soviet Union's Spetsnaz special forces. Those years left him with the ability to survive physical dangers and dire situations. Having settled in Helsinki, Kärppä would like to be an honest construction industry entrepreneur and family man. Despite his efforts, this proves impossible as he knows too many people and too many things. After a business trip, Kärppä is unwillingly drawn into an internal Russian power struggle, and his loved ones are also put in danger. Kärppä seeks help from both the St. Petersburg mafia and the Russian embassy but is forced to realise he cannot trust anyone. Soon he finds himself simultaneously on the Finnish Security Police's wanted list and in the crosshairs of hired assassins. To save his family and himself, Kärppä needs the help of his friend, criminal detective Teppo Korhonen, and his brother Aleksei.
