Max Hare and Toby Tortoise are opponents in a boxing match. Max becomes frustrated when Toby retreats into his shell during the match, so he tries to cheat by dumping fireworks into Toby’s shell. The plan backfires when the fireworks actually help Toby win. This is a sequel to The Tortoise and the Hare.
