Each week on "Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal," five restaurant owners from the same city compete against each other by inviting their rivals to dine à la carte in their establishments during regular business hours. In addition to the five contestants, various experts also participate. These experts preview the restaurants and the culinary skills shown, comment on the contestants' visits to each other's restaurants, and may ultimately be the deciding factor in who wins.
