What is A Shop for Killers about?

A Shop for Killers is a nail-biting and electrifying crime thriller, following university student Jeong Jian, who has inherited a dangerous legacy from her deceased uncle Jinman, her sole guardian, in the form of a weapons shop catering exclusively to assassins. She finds herself embroiled a desperate battle for survival against mysterious killers, fighting to protect her life and the shop.

Season 1 captivated viewers worldwide with its varied, stylish action, from gunfights to battles utilising cutting-edge technology, a thrilling plot centred around a mysterious uncle and the existence of a shopping mall, and a storyline where cleverly scattered points of foreshadowing come together exhilaratingly, like a puzzle.

In Season 2, Japanese actors Masaki Okada and Hyunri join the cast, cranking both the scale and the tension up to an even higher gear. Alongside increasingly intense action scenes, the truth behind Uncle Jinman will finally be revealed as the unpredictable and relentless story unfolds.

With new enemies emerging, the threat has escalated like never before, and Jian must confront her destiny amidst a brutal battle. A Shop for Killers 2: Characters, Cast & Production Team

Jeong Jinman (Lee Dong-wook)

Jeong Jin-man is played by Lee Dong-wook, known for his roles in numerous popular titles like Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. In this series, he portrays Jinman, the owner of Murder Help, a weapons store frequented by assassins, and is also Jian’s very own uncle.

Jeong Jian (Kim Hyejun)

Kim Hyejun, whose filmography includes Connect and Kingdom, continues her role from Season 1. She plays Jeong Jian, a university student who inherits Murder Help, bequeathed by her uncle Jinman, and confronts new enemies and conspiracies.

J (Masaki Okada)

Masataka Okada is a prolific actor, starring in a wide range of films and dramas including Drive My Car and We're Millennials. Got a Problem?, and this series, where he plays the mercenary "J" of the East Asia branch of the global assassin organisation Babylon, marks his first appearance in a Korean-produced drama.

Q (Hyunri)

Hyunri, who has been active in both domestic and international productions such as Love You as the World Ends and Eye Love You, plays “Q,” who is involved in a mission in Korea alongside “J” and Kusanagi.
