What is The Husband about?

Neurosurgeon Taeju and hospital chairperson Seyun were once a perfect couple envied by all. However, over time, their marriage deteriorated into constant arguments and fights, leaving them with nothing but hatred and bringing their marriage to the brink of collapse. Amidst all this, following a drunken remark made by Taeju, his wife Seyun is abducted by an unknown person.

Furthermore, Taeju is falsely accused of being the abductor and is pursued by the authorities as the prime suspect. Taeju embarks on a solo mission to rescue his wife while trying to evade the police. What initially appeared to be a straightforward kidnapping for ransom turns out to hide an unexpected truth. Taeju is pushed to his absolute limits in his efforts to bring his wife back home.

Kang Taeju (Namkoong Min)

The series stars Namkoong Min, nicknamed the "God of Acting". He has starred in numerous hit shows, portraying a wide range of characters across various genres, including Our Movie, One Dollar Lawyer, and My Dearest. In this show, he plays Kang Taeju, a successful doctor who becomes the prime suspect in his wife's disappearance.

Ko Seyun (Lee Seol)

Lee Seol reunites with Namgoong Min for the first time since Our Movie, delivering a compelling performance as Ko Seyun, Taeju's wife and ambitious hospital chairperson.

The show also features a talented cast including Hospital Playlist's Kim Daemyung and Tempest's Lee Sanghee. Directed by Kim Junghyun, known for his work on Awaken (starring Namkoong Min), Hyper Knife, and Crazy Love, and written by Jung Jaeha.
