Emma and Felix inherit a dilapidated mansion. When they move in, they discover that they are not the only residents and instead share their new home with a ghost community: Neanderthal Urs, poet Friedrich, Roman legionary Claudius, Countess Adelheid, maid Griet, teacher Svenni, and insurance agent Joachim, all died in the house and have been unable to leave ever since.
