Let's Sing

Yufang, a hot-tempered high school girl, dreams of being a singer. She threatens the talented music teacher Zhang Zhiren to get private lessons. Despite the fact that they argue like cats and dogs, there is chemistry between them. One day, at an interscholastic singing competition, Yufang sings a song with foul language. Zhang Zhiren is then dismissed by the school. Yufang herself is given three demerits and is forced to drop out.

What surprises her is that fame finds her due to this incident. A big singing competition invites her to challenge professional singers, but on the condition that she sings the song that made her famous. Zhang Ziren thinks it is grandstanding and discourages Yufang from participating. As does Yufang's mother, who worries that she could further slim her chance of returning to school. On the contrary, Yufang is determined to stand out in the competition, as it is the one chance she may become a real singer.
