Sri Lanka: Leopard Dynasty

Sri Lanka’s lowlands are home to one of the highest leopard populations on earth. It’s in these lowland jungles that the Sri Lankan leopard—the country’s apex predator—resides. Meet Scarlett, a dominant female with her own territory and cubs to protect in the scrub jungles of the southern lowlands, an ideal location for rearing leopard cubs. In the northern lowlands, we follow Sara, who regularly leaves her cub so she can go hunt for prey. But leaving a cub alone is not always wise when she is not the only leopardess around. There's Clara, a more glamorous, commanding female. While the season changes and the monsoon finally arrives, the leopard cubs will grow and dominate the Sri Lankan wilderness.
