In an imaginary small town in Sicily called Pietrammare, people are abuzz with the election of a new Mayor, who wants to bring legality back to where corrupt politicians had raged for years with unregulated building developments, traffic problems and lack of garbage collection. Initial enthusiasm, however, is soon dampened when residents realize that the return to legality implies giving up many small privileges granted by the previous corrupt and penny-pinching mayor. Yet, who among those who wanted the change is really willing to change himself?
