Ten years after “The Last Kiss”, the lives of Carlo, Marco, Alberto, Livia, Adriano, Veronica and Giulia have changed. Carlo and Giulia got married and broke up. Marco was unable to have a child, while Livia had to raise one alone. Alberto chose loneliness, Paolo chose addiction. Adriano’s return to Rome, after ten years, makes them come together again.

Carlo and Giulia loved, hated and betrayed each other, and now that they are separated, they share their daughter Sveva. Giulia has a new partner, an actor, while Carlo has many women he doesn’t love. Marco and his wife desperately pursued the desire for a child and this consumed them. Livia raised Matteo alone, Alberto pursued emotional independence, Paolo went from one addiction to another. Adriano’s return to Rome after almost ten years reunites them and brings them back to the Wishing Well, but there’s no more water: either you fill it or you crash to the ground.
