Human weapons seemed useless to them. The destruction of the city was a matter of time. Suddenly, a mysterious group of people appeared and faced them. A military defense organization called "Border" studied Neighbor's technology, in order to protect "this side" of the gate. While building a huge base, they established a defense system against Neighbors. 4 years later. Not so many people have left Mikado City, even if the gate is still open. High school student Osamu Mikumo is a member of the Border. That day, an exchange student moved into Osamu's class. For some reason, Yūma Kuga owned a weapon called "Trigger". Only Border's members could carry such a weapon. Osamu asked how it was possible. "I came from the other side of the gate. You call me a Neighbor" answered back Yūma as their story began.
