Akiha Okado is a twenty-seven-year-old woman working as a designer. She does not have a boyfriend, but she does have her dream job and friends to drink with. Akiha finds gratification in what she does, and is certainly in no rush to get married.
One day though, a man suddenly proposes to her at a party. His name is Shu Momose, a handsome and eccentric employee who works at an advertising agency. He is a serious man, trusted by those around him, but he has a secret reason for wanting to enter a marriage.
At first, Akiha refuses his proposal outright, but an unexpected turn of events leads to her accepting his offer. Will it be a disaster, or will the newly-weds find true love in their faux marriage?
