A story of struggle, sacrifice, and dedication. Discover the world behind the Kenyan long-distance runners. We follow Kenyan top athlete, Geoffrey Kipsang, in his home country, at the training camp in Kaptagat, with his coach, Patrick Sang, in the lead-up to his debut at the Berlin Marathon 2012. The story will also focus on Global Sports Communication, the management agency for top athletes such as Haile Gebrselassie. We will see how the athlete is supported, both in the athlete’s home country and during the international races. The film also questions the cultural and historical aspects of long-distance running in Kenya.
