Family Guy Season 24 Cast & Characters

The Griffin Family

Peter Griffin (Seth MacFarlane)

Peter is the loud, impulsive head of the Griffin household, always chasing a half-baked scheme or wild adventure. He’s childish, stubborn, and easily distracted, but his goofy enthusiasm keeps life in Quahog anything but boring. Despite his terrible judgment and constant mishaps, Peter genuinely loves his family and occasionally stumbles into real moments of courage and heart.

Lois Griffin (Alex Borstein)

Lois is the quick-witted, long-suffering matriarch who usually serves as the family’s voice of reason. A former rich kid with a complicated past, she juggles being a patient mom with her own desires for excitement and independence. Underneath her calm, polished exterior, Lois has a surprising wild streak and a sharp sense of humor that often outmatches Peter’s chaos.

Meg Griffin (Mila Kunis)

Meg is the Griffins’ frequently overlooked teenage daughter, desperate to fit in at school and be noticed at home. Socially awkward and often the target of jokes, she endures constant embarrassment from her peers and her own family. Even so, Meg is more resilient than anyone gives her credit for, and her flashes of confidence hint at someone who might eventually rise above the chaos around her.

Chris Griffin (Seth Green)

The Griffins’ teenage son, Chris is sweet, clueless, and always hungry for snacks, comics, and video games. He bumbles into Peter’s wild schemes and Quahog’s chaos but brings big laughs, awkward charm, and the occasional creative surprise, with a loyal heart underneath it all.

Stewie Griffin (Seth MacFarlane)

Stewie is the Griffin family’s precocious baby, armed with a genius-level mind, cutting vocabulary, and a flair for the dramatic. He dreams of big, outrageous plans, from world domination to elaborate sci-fi adventures, far beyond the nursery. While he delights in sarcasm and villainous schemes, Stewie’s bond with Brian and occasional vulnerability show that, underneath it all, he’s still a kid craving love and connection.

Brian Griffin (Seth MacFarlane)

The family’s anthropomorphic dog, Brian is sophisticated and articulate, often acting as the most rational member of the household. He enjoys writing, martinis, and philosophical debates but struggles with flaws like alcoholism and romantic failures. His dynamic relationship with Stewie adds depth to his character.

Other Returning Voices

Family Guy, 20th Television Animation, Hulu

Joe Swanson (Patrick Warburton)

Peter’s friend and neighbor, Joe is a paraplegic super cop who treats every situation, whether it’s a routine patrol or guys’ night in the living room, like a full blown action movie. Disciplined and by the book until his fuse burns out, Joe’s explosive temper, shouted one liners, and totally over the top heroics turn even the simplest hangout into a high stakes meltdown, making him one of the most unpredictable (and funniest) members of the Quahog crew.

Cleveland Brown (Arif Zahir)

The polar opposite of Joe is Cleveland, another close friend of Peter. Known for his slow, drawling voice and mild-mannered nature, Cleveland is patient and nonconfrontational. Unlike the intense, loud humor of his friends, Cleveland’s comedy comes from his deadpan delivery and weary tone.

Glenn Quagmire (Seth MacFarlane)

The final member of the friendship group is Quagmire. He’s hypersexual, sleazy, and shameless. But he’s more than a horndog, he’s also a talented home chef, a former Navy pilot, and he’s the only one who sees right through Brian’s “intellectual” act. Quagmire is perhaps best known for his catchphrase, “giggity,” often expanded to “giggity giggity goo” when he’s especially excited.

Other Supporting Characters

Bruce Straight (Mike Henry)

Perhaps the best way to describe Bruce is through his catchphrase: a gentle, high-pitched “Oh, no…” uttered as something goes awry for him (again). Perpetually unlucky, he’s known for his various careers, working as everything from a medium to a lawyer.

Principal Shepherd (Gary Cole)

Shepherd is the tone-deaf, perpetually dismissive principal of Adam West High School. He spends more time putting out fires than preventing them, but when things go wrong for him, it’s always somebody else’s fault. As a parody of the classic ineffective, bureaucratic principal, Shepherd’s main focus is on dismissing concerns and hiding issues.

Donna Tubbs (Sanaa Lathan)

Donna is Cleveland’s confident, assertive, no-nonsense wife. She avoids coddling or pitying Cleveland, instead pushing him to stand up for himself more with a bit of tough love.

Bonnie Swanson (Jennifer Tilly)

Bonnie is Joe’s calm and soft-spoken wife (often the steadier presence in the household) and mother to Kevin and Susie.
