Ali: The Mission

The film will outline how this mission to Baghdad came together and the circumstances that led Ali to do something that no other athlete would ever dare try. We'll also reveal the emotions and personal stakes for Ali and the human shields – from the total surprise upon learning that Muhammad Ali was negotiating for their release, to the jubilant mood on the flight back to America. Finally, we’ll explore the long-lasting effects that Ali’s mission still has on the former hostages some 22 years later.
