New stars, new season -The Artful Dodger streams on Disney+ from February 10, 2026

Three Aussie additions headline the much-anticipated second season of The Artful Dodger, streaming on Disney+ in 2026.

Dodging and weaving its way onto screens on February 10, Luke Bracey, Jeremy Sims and Zac Burgess join the star-studded cast of the Australian original series, filmed in Sydney, which won audiences with its crafty tale of reinvention, betrayal, redemption and love with a twist.

Jack Dawkins aka The Artful Dodger lives a double life with his fast pickpocketing fingers that have transformed into the skilled hands of a surgeon. Brilliantly portrayed by Thomas Brodie-Sangster, remember lovestruck teen Sam in Love, Actually? Now, Brodie-Sangster is all grown up adding his unique twist to this leading role.

In Season 1, Dodger is torn between the promise of love with Lady Belle Fox and the high society life and his temptations and secret desire for the thrills of the criminal underworld. 

Fan favourites including David Thewlis (Fagin) and Maia Mitchell (Lady Belle Fox) return and with the new characters add even more drama, romance and intrigue to the fictional Australian colony Port Victory as viewers discover a brand new part of the town.

Bracey (Elvis, Hacksaw Ridge) portrays “Inspector Henry Boxer” the new authority in town with eyes for a Lady, Sims (Mr Inbetween, Last Cab to Darwin, as director) plays “Uncle Dickie” the Governor’s charming and disreputable older brother, with rising star Burgess (Cruel Intentions, Boy Swallows Universe) as “Phineas Golden” his handsome aide.

Jack’s back and straight back into trouble! Season 2 begins with Jack not only being hunted by Inspector Boxer but his life depends on whether he sees the woman he loves,Lady Belle.

Meanwhile, Lady Belle is forging her future in medicine, defying expectation and stepping into danger, driven by ambition and a love already hanging by a thread.

With Boxer now vying with Jack for Belle’s affection, the crafty Fagin drags Dodger into their most dangerous heist yet.
