Three years after the Geiranger tsunami, geologist Kristian Ekjord's family has relocated to Oslo. While he is left behind struggling with trauma, a series of strange accidents and geological tremors begin to plague the capital. Kristian soon realizes that a catastrophic earthquake, far greater than the one that struck in 1904, is imminent and his family is at the epicenter of the danger.
The Quake
In 1904, Oslo was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 on the Richter scale. The quake caused significant destruction, but fortunately, no lives were lost. Three years have passed since the tsunami wave hit Geiranger. Idun and the children have now moved to Oslo to get away from the painful experience. Kristian Ekjord lives alone in Geiranger. The accident has not let go, and a traumatized Kristian struggles with guilt over what happened. Then, strange things begin to happen in Norway's capital. Unexplained floods, power outages, and accidents strike the city. Geological surveys show that the "Oslo Graben" has once again begun to move.
