Exclusive Interview: All’s Fair Star Matthew Nozska Takes Us Behind The Scenes Of Playing Chase Munroe

The new star joins a lineup of icons including Kim Kardashian, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash-Betts, Teyana Taylor, Sarah Paulson, and Glenn Close.

All’s Fair is Hulu’s new series that’s breaking the internet, where a team of female divorce attorneys leave a male-dominated firm to open their own practice. We sat down with Matthew Noszka, who plays NFL quarterback Chase Munroe. Spoiler alert, his character marries Kim Kardashian’s Allura Grant in a flashback during episode 3. What about this project and your character made you excited to join the cast of All’s Fair

What immediately drew me in was the chance to play an NFL quarterback. That part excited me most. The biggest humorous twist [was that] I didn’t actually play any football!

How did you prepare to play Chase? Did you draw from any personal experiences?

I pulled from the ups and downs of relationships. Breakups, heartbreak, and personal growth have a way of shaping you, and I used those emotions to bring authenticity to Chase’s story.

What was it like working with such an accomplished cast?

It’s a blessing to work alongside such credible, talented individuals. Every day on set was a masterclass in professionalism, creativity, and passion.

Any stories from filming that capture what it was like making the show?

Imagine being surrounded by powerful, successful women balancing their personal lives with an incredibly demanding show. It was inspiring to witness that kind of strength and dedication.

What do you hope viewers take away from the show and how do you want them to feel after watching?

All’s Fair is a collection of good and bad decisions…just like life. I hope viewers walk away with a reminder that mistakes are part of being human. The key is to learn from them, correct them, and keep moving forward.

What are some of your favorite Disney classics? Anything on Disney+ or Hulu that you’ve loved recently?

I recently showed my daughter The Sandlot, one of my favorite childhood movies. Watching her love it the way I did is one of those dad moments I won’t forget.
