About The Character
When Mayor Jerry Generazzo’s highway plan puts the glade she grew up with in danger, Mabel Tanaka seizes a wild opportunity to help its wildlife residents. She unexpectedly discovers new technology that “hops” human consciousness into a lifelike robotic animal. Transformed into a fuzzy robotic beaver, she’s even more determined than ever to save the glade. Once she’s inside the animal kingdom, she teams up with King George and the pond’s residents on a mission to save their home.

About The Character
King George is the head beaver in charge, but don’t call him “Your Majesty,” that was his father! He’s warm, chatty, and welcomes Mabel with open arms when she arrives at the pond. As the leader of the animals, George gives Mabel her first look at how the animal community works. His strong opinions and big heart help her understand who she’s actually trying to protect. The one thing we’re wondering? How did he get that little crown?

He’s best known for his run on Saturday Night Live, where he built a long list of iconic characters. About The Character
Mayor Jerry is running for reelection in Beaverton. He’s self-obsessed, thinks he’s all that, and is extremely unbothered by the moral dealings of his job. His latest political endeavor involves building a highway through the glade that will ultimately displace the animals. But under that shiny, perfect hair and matching public persona, Jerry is gaining perspective, thanks to Mabel.
Where You’ve Seen Jon Hamm Before
Hamm is best known for playing Don Draper on Mad Men, the role that made him one of TV’s most recognizable leading men. He also appeared in the action comedy Keeping Up with the Joneses (Hulu), played FBI agent Adam Frawley in The Town, and Buddy in Baby Driver.

About The Character
Dr.Sam is Mabel’s biology professor at Beaverton University and the brilliant inventor of a top-secret project: Hoppers. She's determined for her work to be used for good because she knows the results could be catastrophic if it falls into the wrong hands.

About The Character
Titus is the Insect Queen’s spoiled, demanding, and power-hungry son. Once he claims the title of Insect King, his ego somehow gets even bigger. He is small but mighty with a serious appetite for mayhem.

She’s sharp and dedicated to dealing with her son Titus, which may be the roughest job in the whole animal kingdom.

Nisha works with Dr. Sam in the top-secret lab. Luckily, she seems like the person most likely to notice when everything is about to go wrong. As Dr. Sam’s loyal second-in-command, she tends to be fairly quiet, until she isn’t. She’s great in a crisis and can be a little intense in a staff meeting.

About The Character
The Bird King is the loudest guy in a meeting, which is saying something when the meeting includes the entire Animal Council. He’s jumpy, cranky, and often looks down on the others, literally. This makes him a real problem once the animals start arguing about what to do with the humans.

Amphibian King is cold and slimy, just like his skin. A frog of few words, he still manages to croak out his ideas. But for the most part his fellow Council members have learned not to take him too seriously.

Purcell has been part of the Pixar world for years, usually behind the scenes rather than in front of a mic. He co-wrote and co-directed Brave, developed Cars on the Road, and wrote and directed Toy Story That Time Forgot. He also voiced Deep Dark Secret in Inside Out 2.

About The Character
Fish Queen is the ruler of the fish kingdom. If the Animal Council is meeting, she’s ready with a speech, complete with a dramatic pause while she dips down for water. She’s stern and feels that humans keep making life harder for everybody with fins.

About The Characters
The Reptile Queens are three nearly identical snake sisters on the Animal Council, who rule over the reptiles. Mabel needs the Council to take the glade seriously, which means first getting past the sisters’ sly comments and their deep suspicion of anything that walks.

Diane is a shark with a job to do. The Animal Council brings her in as an apex predator assigned to help stop Mayor Jerry’s plans to pave over the glade. Diane may be one of the animal world’s most feared, but she’s also polite and oddly soothing. It’s hard to panic when the shark coming for you has great bedside manner.

Bayer spent seven seasons on Saturday Night Live, and later co-created and starred in I Love That for You, playing Joanna Gold, a home-shopping host with a complicated relationship with honesty. She also played Madame Jen in Freakier Friday and Allison Parker in Office Christmas Party.

About The Character
Conner is a biology grad student working in Dr. Sam’s top-secret lab, so he’s very much in the blast zone when the beaver tech starts causing problems. He’s cheerful and chatty, but the longer Mabel’s rescue mission goes on, the more Conner seems to realize he may have signed up for the wrong extracurricular.

Richardson co-created and starred in Detroiters, where he played Sam Duvet opposite Tim Robinson. He also played the endlessly optimistic Richard Splett on Veep, Gilbert in Hocus Pocus 2, Finn Wheeler in Werewolves Within (Hulu), and Aniq in The Afterparty.

About The Character
Grandma Tanaka is the steady grown-up in Mabel’s orbit, who understands why a quiet patch of woods can matter so much. She helps Mabel see the glade as a living place, and teaches her that taking care of the world around you is a real way to make a difference.
