This true story follows the U.S. men’s ice hockey team’s historic gold-medal run at the 1980 Olympics. After missing out on playing in the 1960 Olympic-winning team, Herb Brooks (Kurt Russell, The Strongest Man in the World) gets another shot at glory coaching the 1980 squad. Up against the seemingly unbeatable Soviet team, Herb is determined to lead his team to victory, uniting a group of collegiate underdogs to pull off the “Miracle on Ice.”
