Quo Vado?

One of modern-day Italian vices is to label the average Italian man as “bamboccione” (a big baby) when he is excessively attached to his mother and to his permanent job. Such men are considered to be typically rude, politically disengaged, racist, homophobic and chauvinistic. Checco has a secure job as a civil servant at the State Agency for Hunting and Fishing. But one day, the Italian government passes an administrative reform that involves civil service job cuts. He is thus summoned by a new superior named Sironi, who offers him a transfer which Checco accepts to Sironi's surprise. The malicious manager engages a “war” with him and continually transfers him to different locations for increasingly irrelevant and dangerous tasks, but Checco persists and adapts to every situation. While in Norway, he falls in love with the beautiful Valeria.
