The Life She Built

Ömür was married off at the age of 15 and became a mother of three at a young age. After her husband abandoned her, she worked day and night at an auto repair shop to raise her children to be honest and honorable people. However, each of her children has struggles of their own: Cüneyt is dealing with gambling debts while raising his child alone after being abandoned; Nazlı discovers that she has been deceived and is pregnant; and Mete, a medical student, pretends to be wealthy to impress İpek, the daughter of a rich family, building a life based on lies and keeping his mother out of it. As Mete and İpek’s love brings two families from very different worlds face to face, Ömür’s path crosses with İpek’s father, Tunç, a famous chef. Ömür’s determination, honesty, and genuine nature deeply affect Tunç, while he reminds her of feelings she had long forgotten and the possibility of a new beginning. As her children’s secrets, class differences, and wounds from the past intertwine the lives of the two families, Ömür must face the greatest struggle of her life to protect both her role as a mother and her own chance at happiness.
