A dark-humored fantasy thriller begins when an international research team starts excavations at Korvatunturi and discovers Christmas's most closely guarded secret, preserved in ice and sawdust 486 meters below the surface. The research team unearths their discovery and unknowingly sets off a chain of events after which Christmas will never be the same again.
